Here are some tips to a successful pop up!
- Invite a minimum of 30 friends. Research shows about one third of the people you invite will show up, so over invite. However, I recommend a PERSONAL text, FB msg, email, phone call etc. work best rather than mass adding everyone to a facebook event! Please let your friends know you want HER at your party and not all 372 other friends you’ve put in the FB invitation! On that note, I like to send you a pretty evite graphic to text or FB msg INDIVIDUALLY to each friend the day before or morning of the party as a reminder! The more personal your inviting, the more successful you’ll be in getting friends to your party! I also have postcard invitations I’m happy to mail for you provided you supply addresses. This is also a nice personal touch.
- Keep refreshments simple! You’re welcome to provide refreshments but we’ve found that your friends are typically on a mission to shop and they don’t come expecting fancy refreshments! Also, beware of foods and beverages that could stain product as I’d hate for you to be responsible for damaged product! A plate of cookies or bowl of candies is sufficient!
- Music! Please have upbeat music playing so your friends don’t feel awkward when they arrive alone-plus it makes the pop up more FUN!
- Other vendors. Please don’t invite other vendors unless we’ve discussed this. I’ve found that your friends are typically on a budget and when they have to choose between purses, jewelry, etc. and LuLaRoe they’ll end up purchasing from one or even none because they are torn. Sadly you reap even fewer rewards from the various brands represented when you tax your friends in purchasing from multiple vendors on one night. I order a NEW shipment JUST for your party so it means so much to me that you allow your friends to shop my fresh inventory exclusively!
- Payment. We do take all types of credit cards/debit, cash or check. Please note there is a 3% charge for credit cards so encourage your friends to bring cash and/or their checkbooks to avoid the service fee.
- Excitement and preparation! I will ask you to model and be involved on the night of your party! Your enthusiasm and excitement for your party will make ALL the difference in your party experience! The more you interact with your friends, share your favorites and try them on and model for your friends, the more they’ll buy and the more YOU receive! My average sales have been between 30-100 pieces per party! I guarantee this will be the best party you ever host if you follow these simple steps and share with your friends why you love LuLaRoe!
